From 28 September to 2 October will take place on Film Festival in Ciociaria, Frosinone.
The Festival celebrates the most important actor ciociaro to whose memory is dedicated to the career achievement award, the unforgettable Nino Manfredi.
The film arrives in Frosinone alone for a Festival of independent cinema and original, the Festival of Cinema of Ciociaria.
By 28 September to 2 October, in the heart of Lazio, will take place the film festival dedicated to the famous actor ciociaro Nino Manfredi.
The career of this first edition will be delivered to the Italian actor Carlo Verdone, “in a sort of transfer of power between the commedia all’italiana”.
The festival will be divided between premiere and operas, ranging between independent productions and popular, with an emphasis on minor festival and at major international film schools. So from Aruba Film Festival comes the Mexican film “Tequila” by director Sergio Sanchez Suarez; from the Director of “Saw” will be premieredInsidious“”, while from ItalyShockarrives “,” the collective film directed by big names of our cinema as Ugo Gregoretti, Carlo Lizzani and Francesco Maselli. Finally, Mark Kostabi will present “Full Circle: The Kostabi Story“, a documentary about his own work made with Sabrina DiGregorio.
Will be held two exhibitions: “the moment Neorealist“, photo exhibition on neorealism curated by Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia together with Ente dello Spettacolo Foundation; and “PiccionCinema“, exhibition of illustrated boards made from cartoonist, writer and journalist Mauro Antonini.
The event, then, will workshop of interesting and documentariesas presenting “Hollywood Invasion“, the documentary of the journalist Marco Spagnoli, which recounts the invasion of American actors and directors in Rome of the years ‘ 60; presentations of the Provincial School Film Festival dedicated to Gian Maria Volonté; and the screening of the filmMiracle“” under the “Storytelling” meeting held by the Group 9mq-Storytellers.
