Famous for having portrayed on the big screen in the role of the adorable rogue or assassin from the heart stone, Farley Granger made publicly coming out just a few years ago with the publication of his now famous autobiography Include me out “co-written with partner Robert Calhoun. A book in which the interpreter of the milestones of cinema as a way (where seduces a beautiful and melancholic Alida Valli) and throat (film directed by Alfred Hitchcock, particularly in the mood), it is told without reluctance, talking about his first sexual experiences in Honolulu (among her lovers remember the composer Leonard Bernstein).
A busy life, marked by great successes, but also unsuccessful as the sensational musical pride and prejudice where, of course, plays the role of irresistible Darcy. Enamoured of Robert Calhoun, while reciting, Granger continued to the boards of the stage between mixed fortunes, appear sporadically on the big screen and share his life with Calhoun. In fact, the two remained tied until the latter’s death in 2008, three years before the disappearance of Granger, died in New York last may at the venerable age of 85 years.
